The Director of Children & Family Ministry:

• Will oversee and develop the Children and Family Ministry program for children ages birth through fourth grade;
• Should possess a vital evangelical Christian faith and a passion for Children's ministry
• Should sense and be able to articulate a call to Children's ministry
• Should have a functional knowledge of the Scriptures;
• Should possess a college degree and have experience in elementary education;
• Should demonstrate strong administrative and organization skills with an ability to oversee a budget and be capable of supervising and encouraging  laity in their ministry;
• Be available to work full-time

Position:         Director of Administration and Resources

Type:               Full time, Exempt

Reports to:     Sr. Pastor/Head of Staff

Job Description:

A person is needed to direct, coordinate and supervise administrative staff, oversee finances and manage the facility resources of First Presbyterian Church of Kingwood.  This person will work with direct reports, other staff, including Head of Staff and church committees, primarily Personnel, Finance and Building & Grounds, in preparing and monitoring annual objectives and on-going operation.

These objectives involve the major areas of:  a) financial management, financial reporting and annual stewardship campaign, b) the maintenance of building and grounds, including the management of improvement projects and c) staff job descriptions and organization, hiring, salary administration, training, evaluating, and employment record maintenance of paid staff, including adherence to all state and federal laws regarding church employees.

In addition, this person will make recommendations on improvements in staff management, organization and operating policies.
