Welcome!

If you're new to or are just visiting First Presbyterian Church of Kingwood, the Evangelism Committee would like to extend to you a gracious welcome.  And if you've been a member here for a while, we are so glad you are here.  Our church family is going through some very exciting times with the arrival of our new Pastor, Dr. Jim Davis, and his wonderful family.  We are all looking forward to Dr. Davis' ministry with us and the exciting changes that are in store as we continue seeking and receiving God's grace, love and wisdom. 

Evangelism Committee

The Evangelism Committee is made up of church elders, church staff and lay members who are committed to spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ in many different, fun and exciting ways.  Current committee members include:

However, our vision is to see our entire congregation as the Evangelism Committee and to have everyone help in spreading God's love both within and outside the "four walls" of the church. 

GO!

As Pastor Dr. Jim Davis has told us, the first word in the Great Commission is "Go".  Jesus didn't say "Stay" or "Sit" or "Do nothing" or "Remain isolated" or "Keep to yourself".  He said "GO", as in "Go out", "Seek others", "Get outside your four walls".  Want to know one way to do that?  "Go" out and invite someone to church...and then bring them!  Go to your neighbor's house, go to your child's preschool, go to your place of work...and invite someone to our church family so that they might hear God's word.  Your Evangelism Committee is seeking those who feel called to "GO!"...and to help others "GO!".  Consider joining us on All Committee Night, the 3rd Monday of every month (beginning in January) at 7:30 P. M. in the Christian Education Wing.  Or contact any of us for more information:
